Members NOT receiving a pension benefit

Different types of Pension

Regular Pension. See page 6 of the Pension Booklet.

Service Pension. See page 14 of the Pension Booklet.

Early Retirement Pension. See page 15 of the Pension Booklet.

Disability Pension. See page 17 of the Pension Booklet. Important: Do not delay the filing of your application for Pension until you receive your Certificate of Award from Social Security, because that will delay the effective date of your Pension from this Plan once the Pension is granted. You should send in your application for a Disability Pension from this Plan when you apply for a Social Security Disability Benefit indicating on the Pension application that you have applied for a Social Security Disability Benefit. See pages 17 through 19 of the Pension Plan Booklet for additional information.

Special Early Pension. See page 20 of the Pension Booklet.

Pro Rata Pension. See page 21 of the Pension Booklet.

Vested Pension. See page 22 of the Pension Booklet.

Summary Plan Description - Pension Plan Booklet

Dated July 1, 2004. It is important to remember when reading and interpreting the Plan that if the facts and circumstances of a particular situation occurred prior to July 1, 2004, the provisions of the plan in effect at the relevant date may be applied. Those provisions may be different from the Plan presently in effect and contained in the booklet. 

This booklet is merely a summary of the Rules and Regulations of the Pension Plan. Your benefit will be determined under the pension Plan document itself, as amended by the Board of Trustees from time to time

Death Benefits
